Trading FAQ:

          I am always looking to trade with other Classic Jpop/Dorama collectors that may have stuff

          i would be looking for. However, i do have several criteria that need to be followed before

          i trade or sell copies from my library.

         Q: What are you looking for ?

         A: I am looking for classic idol doramas/jpop from 1980-1992 that i do not currently have in my

             collection.

         Q: What formats do you trade in ?

         A:  Well with video, i strictly trade in DVD format. Doing VHS trades or trading VCD's and other

               media formats like Divx,Xvid is out of the question in 99 percent of the time.

               With Audio, i've ripped my entire 2,000 plus CD library to 192k MP3 format with cover scans

               and that is what i would trade with. Any MP3 trades MUST match or exceed 192k.

        Q: You say media file trades are "99 percent of the time, out of the question" What is the 1 percent ?

        A: When i trade with somebody, i am assuming that they have been long time collectors as well and

             built up their collection by buying VHS tapes,LD's,CD's  & copying stuff off TV in Japan,

             as i have for the last 20 plus years.

             So in that line of thinking, the quality i offer should be in line with what you have.

             I transfer everything DVD to retain quality and playability on my Home Theather system,

             and i expect the same in any trade.

             Now, in the advent of Bittorrent & P2P i know there are people who can possibly get stuff

             that way that may be of interest....

             However it would have to be of something pretty rare for me to bother taking a Divx

             or Mpeg file. (To note, under no circumstances will i take Quicktime & Real Video files,

             there's way too much trouble to convert)

             So, the best thing would be to just ask and i'll let you know.

       Q: What if i don't have anything to trade with ? Can i still get stuff from you ?

       A:  Sure ! It's pretty straight forward.

            For Dorama/Movie/Jpop MTV DVD's, it's $4.00 per DVD plus shipping

            For Jpop MP3's, it's $5.00 per album and would give a discount if you got more than 4 albums

            from me at a time. I'm not getting rich doing this, but i do demand a small amount for my

            time and effort.

         Q: How would i pay ?

         A: The easiest would be to pay by PAYPAL, i would accept a USPS International Money Order

              or US cash as well.

        Q: How do you ship ?

        A: Well if you are getting DVD's, they would be shipped via Canada Post Regular Air Mail.

            With MP3's if you are just getting a few albums, i can upload them to my server for you to download

             or i can burn them branded CD-R's/DVD-R's and mail them to you.

       Q: How long does it take you to ship out after taking my order or starting a trade ?

       A: Depending on the size of the trade, Anywhere between 2-6 business days.

       Q: Can i contact you for information about idol stuff ?

       A; Sure !!!  I'm always happy to hear from Classic Jpop fans

       Q: Are you interested in doing trades for more recent shows and/or artists ?

       A:  There's only a few things that i would be interested in getting and you can check my

             Want List on the front page to see. If it's not there, then i'm most likely not interested.
